Recurring Fees and Payout Fees

Recurring Fees such as rent are often necessary for consignment stores. To create a recurring fee on an account, go to the account's detail page. Click the three dot menu in the top right corner and select "Add recurring fee."

This will open a slide-out screen on the right side. Here you can name the fee, choose the amount, and select the date on which the fee will be charged. The frequency can be weekly or monthly. Weekly fees can be charged every week, every two weeks, and so on. Monthly fees can be charged on any day of the month. Fees are typically charged at midnight, and will never be charged the same day they are applied to the account.

Payout Fees are best used for fees which are tied to the payout process. A payout fee designed to pass along the cost of processing fees is a great example!

When settling account balances, you can charge a payout fee by entering the desired amount into the fee field during a payout. If you are settling up multiple accounts at once, the fee will be applied to every account being payed out. However, this fee applies only to the current payout, so you’ll need to re-enter it each time you settle account balances.

Payout fees will appear in the Payout Overview at the bottom of the page.
