When item that belong to a consignor sell, a positive balance entry is made in their Account. In other words, the consignor makes money. That balance is paid out by the store owner periodically. To track and understand this balance table, begin by going to an account's detail page.
Here, under "Balance" you can see the amount owed, the last payout, and all the recent balance entries for this account. Positive entries mark item sales for the consignor. Negative entries mark fees or payouts for the consignor. To see all of the balance entries for this account, click the arrow in the top right corner of the Balance box.
This will open the Balance Entries page (normally found under Reports) with a filter automatically set for the account you were viewing.
Here you can view the payment method of the payouts, a more detailed entry of the items sold, as well as the reason for the balance adjustment. This report can be exported as a CSV file.
