Tiered Splits

How to set up Tiered Splits for differently priced items

Tiered splits affect items based on price. For example, if you decide that items over $100 should have a larger store split than items under $100, you can set up a tiered split rule that determines that items over $100 have a 30/70 split instead of a 40/60 split.

Creating Tiered Splits

To create a tiered split, go to Settings > Early Access and toggle Tiered Splits on. This will open a new settings option in your Items settings. Click "Add Tier" to start the tiered split.

Then, fill in the minimum price, the maximum, and the percentage that the consignor will receive for the items in that price range.

NOTE: Make sure that you don't leave any gaps or duplicates in your Tiered Splits. For example, if your split tier is $10-$15 = 30% and the next is $16-$20 = 45%, any item between $15 and $16 will not apply Tiered Splits and will default to whatever your store's default split is.

Once you finish filling out the values for the split, click "Save" to start applying those splits to your items.

You can create as many tiers as necessary! Tiered splits will apply to all items unless a different split is entered at the time of the item's creation. If a certain item requires a different split than the tiered split, simply input that percentage in the Split field in the Item Creation Table. If items are to follow the tiered split rules, simply leave the split field blank, or remove it from the Item Creation Table view by click "Edit Fields." WARNING: Tiered splits will override account and category splits. Any previous

default account splits will no longer apply.

On the Item Detail page for an item with a Tiered Split, the item split will be estimated based off price. Tiered Splits are only calculated fully and applied after the item has sold.
