To view the Sales Report, go to Reports>Sales. Here you can view multiple different sets of data.
Sales Overview
First, the sales graph appears. This graph compares the allotted time of the graph to an equal amount of previous time. So if the date is set to "Today" the graph will compare the data to yesterday. If it's set to "July" the data will be compared to June's sales. This report shows a simple overview of the revenue. The time frame of the report can be adjusted by clicking on "Today" and choosing the appropriate time frame.
Sales Summary
Underneath the Sales Overview is the Sales Summary. There are lots of dropdown menus in this report! For example, Revenue holds Gross Sales, Discounts, Refunds, and Cash Rounding Adjustment. If you have more than one tax, that will also be itemized. Simply click the downward arrow that appears on the right side.
Payment Types
The next report is Payment Types. This report shows the amounts collected of each payment method in the ConsignCloud POS. Refunded amounts are subtracted from collected amounts. Hover over a bar to see exact amounts!
Sales by Category
The last report on this tab is Sales by Category. This shows the total sales by each category for up to the top 10 categories with refunds and discounts subtracted. The report is useful for seeing which categories are the most popular in your store!
Exporting Reports
To export any of these reports, click the Printer icon in the top right corner of the report. This will open a new tab with the report in PDF form (example below). To export any of the reports as a CVS file, click the up arrow next to the printer.
