NOTE: When voiding sales for Integrated Credit Card Payments like Stripe or Gravity, the payments will be moved back automatically after the sale is voided.
Stripe Credit Card Payments
Once Stripe Integrated Credit Card processing is set up, start a sale and click "Credit Card" after adding your items and getting ready to pay.
Enter how much of the total amount you would like to pay in Credit Card and select "Complete Payment".
If you haven't already, it will ask you to choose your credit card reader and integration:
Click "Select" and it will show this on the screen:
And this on the Terminal:
The amount is entered automatically from the Sale Amount in ConsignCloud.
Once the customer taps or inserts a credit card, it will mark the items as sold.
NOTE: Stripe does not support manual credit card entry directly from the Terminal. To pay for an item using manual credit card entry, do a non-integrated payment marking the item as sold manually in the ConsignCloud POS and then separately enter the credit card information into your Stripe Dashboard
Gravity Credit Card Payments
To use Gravity, instead select your Merchant ID and Reader Number that Gravity will provide you with when they connect your terminal. This will be prompted once "Complete Payment" is clicked.
Once that's selected, it will show "Waiting for Terminal".
This will be displayed on your terminal:
Once the payment is added successfully, the following will show in the Point of Sale:
To do a manual credit card entry, click "Manual Entry" on the Gravity pop-up and enter the payment from there.
Non-Integrated Credit Card Payments
"Non-Integrated Credit Card Processing" means that the credit card terminal and the Point of Sale are not connected, and manual entry from the staff is required to complete a sale. All non-integrated credit card payments will need to be completed separately within both the credit card terminal and the Point of Sale.
NOTE: You can use most any credit card processor with ConsignCloud Non-Integrated.
To add a Non-Integrated Payment, in the list of payment types at the top of the sale summary, click on "Credit Card" to begin your transaction. If you have a terminal setup already, simply input the same amount from the sale into your credit card processor. (In the example above, type $80.00 into your terminal) and complete the credit card transaction. Now that the item has been paid for by the customer, you can click "Complete Payment" in your POS to take you to the next screen and finish the sale.
The completed Sale will be marked as a Credit Card Payment in the Sale Detail Page:
