There are currently only two ways to edit a sale after the fact:
Backdating a Sale
Editing or Adding a Customer
Any changes made to the item itself will not affect Balance, Account, or any other Sale Factor. If an item is sold under the wrong split, redo the sale, or follow the steps in the article below to fix:
Backdating a Sale
To backdate a sale, go to your Sales Table and click on the Sale you want to edit to open the Sale Detail Page. Click the three dot menu up at the top and select "Change Date" from the dropdown menu.
This should open up a menu where you can edit when the sale happened. Click the calendar and clock icon to enter a new date and time.
Click "Now" or "Today" to default the time/date back to today's time and date. Then, click "Apply" to finalize.
Click "Submit" when you're finished:
Editing a Customer on a Completed Sale
To add or edit a Customer on a Completed Sale, stay in the Sale Detail Page but instead select "Set Customer" from the three dot menu's dropdown.
Select the right customer and click "Submit" once finished. To learn more about customer accounts and adding them to a sale in the POS, check out our article here:
