To park a sale in the POS, first make sure that you are signed into a register. Then click the three dot menu in the top right corner next to "Parked Sales." This will hold your sale and the items until you need to find it again. Add a memo to the parked sale to keep track of the customer, the reason for parking it, etc.!
To find a parked sale, click "Parked Sales" at the top of the screen. Here, you can reactivate the sale by clicking on it, delete the sale by clicking the trash can, or move the sale to a different register by clicking the arrow next to the trash can.
Layaway Sales are also available in ConsignCloud. These are slightly different from a parked sale in that Layaways require a downpayment, and can be scheduled to expire. They are also assigned to a particular customer. To read more about Layaways, see the article below.
