How I prepare for a call with ConsignCloud's support team?

Most issues within ConsignCloud are resolved using the chatbox, however a small handful of issues can be best handled over the phone or via a remote troubleshooting session using RustDesk. The most common issue to resolve via RustDesk is a printer issue.

Prior to the troubleshooting call beginning, please make sure you have the following on-hand.

  • A strong wifi connection

  • The admin passwords to your ConsignCloud account and computer

  • A phone to take photos of any labels which may be printing incorrectly


Please note that ConsignCloud is not always able to resolve every issue you may have—especially printer issues. Sometimes ConsignCloud must direct you to find outside support to help you with an issue. Generally printer troubleshooting sessions are limited to 30-minutes.

NOTE: For most devices, the first time you download RustDesk, you will need to configure the permissions on your computer to allow RustDesk to remotely control your computer. On Mac you must enable both Screen Recording and Remote Access (most Mac users have to enable permissions two times as they are prompted once for screen recording, and once for remote desktop).
