As a part of the redesign for Next-Gen, the ConsignCloud team has completely redesigned the interface surrounding Vendor Login! Vendors can now see their current active balance in their Vendor Portal, you can hide item fields you don't want Vendors to fill out, and they can even login at the same link you do (no more confusion over using the wrong link!). Did you like the Vendor Login process before? Now it's even better!
NOTE: Vendor Login is intended for stores that want vendors to manage their own inventory, set pricing, and print their own labels. If you only need a way for consignors to log-in and view their sales, the Consignor Portal is the appropriate option.
Vendor Login: What's New?
New Link — All Vendors will now use ConsignCloud's primary link (my.consigncloud.com) to sign-in and add their own items
Editing and Hiding Item Fields — Admin users can now edit which fields Vendors are able to see when they add items
Label Printing — Vendors can now choose between different labels in your store (not just your Default Label)
View Active Balance — Vendors can now see their current active balance in their Vendor Portal
Turning On Vendor Login
To turn 'ON' Vendor Login, navigate to the Settings tab, and click into the "Vendors" setting. Toggle 'ON' the 'Enable Vendor Login' setting. Congratulations—Accounts you enable as Vendors will now be able to login.

Vendor Permissions
In order for an Account to be invited to login as a Vendor, they must be given this permission.
NOTE: Turning 'ON' Vendor Login does not automatically give all Accounts the ability to login as a Vendor. You still need to give permission to individual Accounts to become Vendors.
To invite an Account to become a Vendor Account, store owners have a number of pathways in ConsignCloud:
From the Vendor Settings
In the Vendor Settings, you can both invite existing Accounts to become a Vendor, or you can create an Account with that interface and send the Vendor invite in one action.

—Inviting an Existing Account or Creating a New Account—
From the Account Detail Page
For Accounts that already exist, you can also easily navigate to the Account Detail Page and select the "Invite as Vendor" option from the list of buttons on the right hand side.

What happens when you send a Vendor Invite?
This video shows you how your Vendors will sign-up to be a Vendor at your store after you send a Vendor Invite in Next-Gen.
Customize Vendor Item Fields
In ConsignCloud Next-Gen, Store Owners and Admin users can restrict which fields vendors can view. This helps vendors quickly identify which fields they are responsible for completing, while fields they should not modify are hidden from view.

What Vendors See

Frequently Asked Questions
Can my Vendors print labels in Next-Gen?
Yes, you Vendors can absolutely print their own labels in Next-Gen! As a key note, Vendors do not login to the ConsignCloud PrintClient—they don't have access to CloudPrinting due to permissions and user type. However, all of their labels are available to be printed as PDFs, which they can download on there end.
